The Hong Kong Start-up Greater Bay Area Delegation visited Zhongzhen Semiconductor (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. from March 20 to March 21, 2024. The delegation was organized by the Shenzhen Branch of Hong Kong Science Park to enhance Hong Kong companies' understanding of the innovation and entrepreneurship environment in the Greater Bay Area.

The delegation consisted of more than 20 people, including founders and senior executives of several Hong Kong technology companies. The delegation visited the R&D laboratory of Zhongzhen Semiconductor, learned about the company's RIE equipment, and initiated exchanges and discussions on equipment and technology.

Afterwards, Mr. Tan Zhiming, founder and CEO of Zhongzhen Semiconductor, introduced the company's development history, core technologies, products, and future plans to the delegation. Tan Zhiming emphasized that the group has more than 40 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, focusing on innovation in the field of semiconductor manufacturing, and is committed to providing the industry with sustainable development innovative processes and promoting the localization of etching equipment.

The members of the delegation spoke highly of Zhongzhen Semiconductor's technical strength and innovation capabilities. Many entrepreneurs had in-depth exchanges with Tan Zhiming on topics such as company operations, talent training, and fund raising.

Representatives of the Hong Kong Science Park Shenzhen Branch said that this inspection will help Hong Kong businessmen better grasp the opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurship in the Greater Bay Area, and they hope that through such activities, they can promote cooperation between enterprises in the two places and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
